LES ANIMAUX DE BOIS

St-Jean school, Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, QC

Procedure : Each of the students made a drawing of an animal and then their class selected one of them. Next, I enlarged and transferred the drawings to surfaces made of cedar planks. Each of the boards corresponds to a child, who had to sand and paint it. The planks were assembled in my workshop, then the animals were installed on the school’s walls for a permanent exhibition.
